Types of Wheels

Elastomeric High-Tensile Wheels

Our EHT rubber wheels with non-marking treads. We made these wheels out of premium rubber bonded to a heavy-duty, solid web aluminum core, making them ideal for towing in indoor and outdoor environments. The wheels can carry up to 2,280 pounds and are rated for higher towing speeds than other molded rubber wheels.

Pneumatic Wheels

Ideal for delivering maximum shock absorbency, pneumatic wheels are intended to protect delicate and breakable items during transportation. These heavy-duty wheels, rated at 3,630 pounds, move freely over rough surfaces and obstructions so that you can use them both inside and outdoors.

Electrostatic Dissipative Rubber Wheels

If you use carts and trolleys to transport sensitive goods, such as computer chips, circuit boards, and other electronics, the static electricity generated by the caster wheels could be problematic.

ESD rubber wheels allow electricity to flow through them and release back into a conductive flooring material rather than transferring through the trolley and into the delicate materials being transported. Polyurethane ESD wheels are also available if that material suits your needs better.

Soft Rubber Wheels

Soft rubber wheels provide a smooth ride and superior traction on rough surfaces. We manufactured the high-quality solid rubber wheels with resilient, soft rubber bonded to a hard rubber core. They have a capacity of 200 pounds, making them an economical choice for light-duty work.

Hard Rubber Wheels

When you need a low-cost, easy-rolling product, consider hard rubber wheels. These wheels hold up to 280 pounds and work well on smooth surfaces. This high-quality solid rubber product is best used in indoor environments.

Performance Thermal Plastic Rubber Wheels

These premium, noise-reducing wheels combine the durability of a hard-tread wheel with the floor protection and quiet operation of a soft-tread wheel. Performance TPR wheels are constructed of thermoplastic elastomer, which is permanently bonded to a polypropylene core. These can be ideal rubber dolly wheels on assembly lines.

RWM Signature Premium Wheels

With a capacity of 700 pounds, RWM Casters’ own Signature Premium wheels have the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any other wheel in the industry. The reinforced nylon core is 6 times stronger than polypropylene, and the performance rubber tread is easy-rolling, non-marking, and resistant to cutting, tearing, and corrosion.

Mold-On Rubber Wheels

Mold-on rubber wheels consist of high-quality rubber molded onto cast-iron cores. They have the strength of a metal wheel, making them one of our highest-rated rubber wheels at 2,800 pounds. The rubber tread design offers floor protection and quiet operation.
