Each caster is designed to transport up to 2500 lbs. That is a considerable load for a system with an axle that is just 1/2″ and leg thickness that is a mere 1/4″. However, we know some of the strongest tools come in the smallest packages.
We have designed the Freedom 68 Series Caster specifically for use in automotive production facilities, aerospace manufacturing, assembly plants, and more. We guarantee this caster will deliver solid and consistent performance when deployed on dollies, tow lines, platform trucks, or towline fixtures.
Sizing Things Up
The Freedom 68 Series Caster is available with a wheel diameter of 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, or 12″, and wheel widths of either 2″, 2 1/2″, or 3″. These configurations give the wheel an overall height ranging from 6 3/8″ to 14 3/16″, and a total weight ranging from 9 to 45 lbs.
Further, each caster can be coupled with a 1 1/2″, 1 7/8″, 2″, or 2 3/16″ swivel lead and your choice of ball bearing.
Depending on the wheel diameter, width, and construction, each wheel offers a capacity of between 400 and 2500 lbs. Our Freedom 68 Series Casters can be paired with a broad range of wheels, including:
