DEMOUNTABLE SWIVEL LOCK (DSL)
NOTCHED YOKE (NY)
Plunger type swivel locks are used where it is necessary to convert swivel casters into rigid casters for aided steering control.
Demountable swivel locks (DSL) are designed for field installation or replacement of swivel locks. The swivel caster must have a notched yoke (NY) for the demountable swivel lock to operate.
DEMOUNTABLE L-TYPE SWIVEL LOCK (DLSL)
The DLSL lock is intended for use in more demanding medium- to heavy-duty applications such as aerospace ground support or heavy assembly plant floors. Demountable swivel locks are designed for field installation and/or ease of replacement on existing models.
PASSIVE SWIVEL LOCK (PSL)
Designed to engage and disengage when a predetermined force is applied to the swivel caster. Call the factory for availability of these options on selected casters.
HEAVY-DUTY THREADED SWIVEL LOCK (HDSL)
Used in rugged applications where durability of swivel lock mechanism is required.
FOOT-OPERATED SWIVEL LOCK (FOSL)
Plunger is attached to a cam lever, which engages and disengages lock with foot action.
