The Day of the Eclipse

August 21, 2017. The day of the solar eclipse. RWM was located very close to the path of totality of the eclipse. The eclipse’s path of totality passed through 14 States with South Carolina being the closest to us. It was an impressive display of nature and many of the RWM employees were able to witness it firsthand through the protection of a welding visor. Though it didn’t reach complete darkness at the RWM plant, it did get dark enough for the streetlights and the RWM sign to turn on.
