RWM’s S45 Stainless Steel Casters feature a cold forged top plate, yoke and button that improves swivel action and increases service life with sealed raceways. The stainless steel casters are made of 304 series stainless steel which is electropolished to further improve long term corrosion protection and resistance to microbial buildup. Stainless steel casters provide a dramatic increase in resistance to corrosion due to environmental or chemical factors.
The standard tight fitting raceway seals and polished stainless steel finish make this an ideal solution for messy food processing facilities, OEM equipment, cooking facilities, wash-down applications and medical facilities. These casters are available with side actuated tread locking brakes which provide superior locking over conventional side wheel brakes and are also offered in a total locking version which locks both the wheel and the swivel raceway from rotating at the same time.

To order a rigid caster, change the “S” to “R” in the model number. For example: “S45-DUR-0420-R”. To order a rig only, omit the blue letters. For example: “S45-0420-S”. Dimensions shown are nominal. If precise dimensions are required, consult your RWM representative. For approximate weight of our rigid casters, deduct 0.9 pounds per item.
